Maxime Longden

My name is Maxime and I am a somatic parts work coach. By guiding you to tune in to your system, I support you to change your patterning. Somatics understands that healing happens in the body and can be instant and transformative. We don't need to understand it, we just need to feel it. Parts work is an incredible framework which sees us as not singular but a myriad of selves, all reflecting reflect different parts of our whole. Rather than being afraid of our 'demons', this framework understands that every part of us is trying its best, but they need compassionate integration to teach us their powerful lessons. From working in this way, you can instantaneously change the way you relate to yourself, your relationships and the wider world.

My expertise comes from my own experiences with trauma. I am a trained in Integrative Somatic Trauma Healing with The Embody Lab, a certified coach with MOE Foundation, trained nature facilitator with Change in Nature and have a first class Bachelor of the Arts in History of Art from The Courtauld Institute in London. Originally from Botswana, I run adventures and retreats for women with Wild Joy and artist residency programs with Studio Verde.

Either online or in person, this is time and space in which you are held and intentionally supported with what you are going through. I meet you where you are and together we explore what you are holding, firstly on the surface level and then we check into your body and work from there. We traverse through the outer layers of what's happening for you and then your inner landscape. Most of our consciousness is embedded within our bodies. A session usually begins with resourcing support and ends with how you can apply this wisdom to your daily life. Your wisdom will shine through during the session.
