I have found that taking the first step to towards having real control of our lives is that we get really clear on "what it is that we do want" instead of constantly fighting "what it is - that we don't want". In my many years as a therapist and wellness coach I have found that people don't really take the time to get really clear on their goals. Understandably, life happens - people lead really busy lives, we get easily distracted there is so much out there and life is very fast paced. However, when we don't take time to focus on clarifying our goals we don't get to align the new behavioural programmes that would ensure for those goals happen. It really is as simple as that. So, now is the time to change that. I am the developer of the ICAN Change Model. This is a 4-step therapeutic model which I have successfully taught my clients to change their brain so that their new behaviours stick. Many people believe that change is hard but my experience is that when we use techniques that are specifically designed to work with your brain that changes can be relatively effortless and easy. In the book, I explain how the ICAN Model works using a step by step process that I took to changing a troublesome behaviour safe in the knowledge that it is changed FOREVER.

Being Curious, Being Kind and Being Present are key practices that are imbedded what I believe is at the route of any compassionate or heart based therapeutic model. I doesn't matter what type of client I have found that at the route of their suffering is often the result of their own self-judgement and lack of forgiveness. The often do realise at first that the very behaviours are unable to change is generally the problem is the solution to a deeper suffering which they are trying to avoid experiencing. As an integrated therapist, there is never an agenda as we work together on what you bring to your sesion. The sessions are outcome focused and although there is flexibility in the sessions to meet current immediate issues we will always have the bigger goal in mind. That way you are always working towards your success. However, I believe that for real change to happen it needs to be "in the muscle" before it can be permanent so I do not do "sticking plaster therapy" and I am not into "quick fixes. " Generally, people will get a good result on simple issues within 4-6 sessions, but if you are ready in that moment one session will be transforming. However, it could also be slightly longer it all depends on how you process information. Remeber you are in control and we work at the pace that you set. I offer Face to Face individual therapy for adults, couples and late adolescents. Internet sessions over Skype, Zoom or other media that is agreed upon Telephone therapy
