I will provide you with a safe space to unpack what you're experiencing with the overall aim to support you in not only understanding yourself on a deeper level, to process past hurts and to come into a place of more self acceptance and compassion.

Owing to my extensive experience and high level training, I offer a variety of approaches and tools which will aid your process.

I have a particular interest in trauma and how it impacts day to day life and how it might show up in the body.

I have mainly worked in private practice seeing clients 1-1 in person and online. My work has also involved offering 1-1, group work, reflective practice and clinical supervision to support staff with a variety of charities.

Clients have come from diverse communities and presented with a variety of challenges.

One of the key parts to therapy is the safety and sense of presence you feel with your therapist.

What are the usual initial steps?

We begin with arranging a free 15 minute consultation. This is an opportunity for you to tell me why you're reaching out. You can ask me any questions and we can decide if we would like to arrange an initial session.

The initial session will involve me asking you some practical questions to begin with for record purposes, confidentiality and expectations from the process. I appreciate that it has usually felt like quite a build up to starting therapy, so I encourage clients to start where they feel they need to. Sometimes clients are not sure and that's ok - I will ask questions to support you with this.

From here, most clients decide to work in an open ended way - and we assess how things are going along the way.
