Hi, I’m Shelly (she/her). I’m a COSRT-registered sex and relationship, trauma therapist and clinical supervisor, working with individuals and couples who are struggling with sex, intimacy, and connection.
Many of the people I work with feel confused, stuck, or ashamed about what’s happening in their sexual or relational lives. You might be experiencing difficulties with desire, arousal, erectile problems, pain during sex, differences in libido, or feeling disconnected from your partner. Sometimes these issues are linked to stress, relationship dynamics, past experiences, or even sexual trauma.
My approach is sex-positive, trauma-informed, and non-judgemental. I aim to create a space where you can talk openly about things that may have felt difficult or impossible to say elsewhere.
Alongside my therapy work, I have supported survivors of sexual abuse as an advocate, which has given me a deep understanding of how trauma can affect intimacy, boundaries, and feelings of shame or obligation. In therapy we move at your pace, focusing on understanding what’s happening and finding practical ways forward.
I work from a biopsychosocial perspective, recognising that sexual difficulties often involve a combination of physical, psychological, and relational factors.
Sessions are available in person, online, or by phone.
