I am down to earth with a solution focused approach. At the first session, we agree a draft plan for what you want from sessions. I tend to work short term, although do work longer term for some issues. If there is a quick and easy way to do something, that is usually what I do. I give you choices and see the counselling relationship as a working relationship and aim to empower you.
