My specialism is in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy which assesses and treats problems related to pain or reduced mobility arising from structures such as joints, muscles and nerves. I particularly enjoy problem solving and breaking things down into simple and clear strategies tailored to the individual.
I integrate Acupuncture into my treatments where appropriate and with client consent and information.
I assess and treat a wide variety of Physical problems. I am passionate about positive problem solving and tailoring treatment to the individual to reach the best outcome as soon as possible. No problem is too big or small, as treating small problems often prevents bigger more long term problems. Getting to know the person I am treating and what is important to them helps me create realistic and targeted treatment plans.
An explanation of symptoms and a plan for intervention will help to formulate the most appropriate treatment plan which may include manual or 'hands on' treatment, exercise or stretch plans, acupuncture, electrotherapy (eg ultrasound) shockwave etc, all with the aim to reduce pain or discomfort and improve or resolve mobility and pain problems. No one size fits all.

Initial consultations are for either 45 mins or 60 mins. More complex or chronic conditions may require a 60 min consultation to allow for a thorough assessment and for treatment to begin. Follow up appointments for the same problem are usually for 30 mins or 45 mins which will be advised and discussed at your initial appointment. Western Acupuncture may be offered as part of a Physiotherapy treatment plan and will be within my scope of practice and registration with the AACP and not charged as an extra treatment. Shockwave may also be indicated, which also does not come at an extra charge. Special offers, packages or promotions are sometimes offered and will be displayed on our website or in the clinic. Currently we offer 6 x 30 min follow up appointments at a reduced rate if paid for in advance. There is no time limit on their use and can be useful if you need ongoing treatment of have a problem that is likely to require at least x 6 follow up treatments. Our prices may be subject to change.
