Psychotherapist in Abergavenny

Counselling can help with many issues such as relationships, circumstances or mental health. You may be feeling anxious, depressed, lost, lonely or overwhelmed. Traumas past and present negatively impact upon our quality of life and coping mechanisms can fail or become unhelpful. Counselling allows some time and space to shine a light on your issues and it can provide insight and clarity. It's an opportunity for honest open communication, without the fear of judgement and repercussions. This supported self-exploration tends to aid growth and healing, ultimately resulting in change and acceptance. Whether you're troubled by old wounds that are still causing pain in the present or by a current life event, being deeply seen and heard by another can make a difference. Whatever's causing you distress is worth exploring. I won't diagnose you or tell you what to do. Instead I provide you with a collaborative therapeutic relationship and the opportunity to work things through with support.
