You might be functioning on the outside, but inside you feel tense, flat, or emotionally exhausted. Perhaps you keep going, meeting expectations, and telling yourself you should be coping better, while something underneath feels unsettled or heavy.
People come to therapy with me when anxiety, low mood, guilt, grief, or relationship difficulties have started to feel harder to carry alone. Sometimes there is a clear problem, sometimes just a sense that old patterns keep repeating, or that you have lost touch with yourself.
My approach is warm and collaborative, with space to reflect and make sense of what you are experiencing. I work integratively, drawing on person-centred and psychodynamic therapy, with elements of CBT, to explore emotional patterns and everyday ways of coping shaped by past relationships and present pressures.
You do not need to have everything worked out before starting therapy. We can take time to understand what feels difficult and what you might want to change. If you are considering therapy and would like a steady, supportive space to begin, you are welcome to get in touch.
I hold an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as an MSc in Psychology. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with its ethical framework.
My experience includes supporting adults with anxiety, grief, relationship and family difficulties, cultural and identity-related concerns, and the emotional impact of chronic or serious health conditions. I work with individuals and couples, drawing on an integrative approach tailored to each client’s circumstances and needs.
I specialise in working with people living with chronic, rare, or invisible health conditions, as well as those coping with uncertainty around symptoms, diagnosis, or treatment. I offer a culturally sensitive and compassionate space where all parts of your experience can be understood, without assumptions or judgement.
I also work with people navigating cultural identity, belonging, and the pressures that can arise from family roles and expectations. I have particular experience supporting clients from South Asian and Punjabi backgrounds, including those exploring the impact of intergenerational patterns, relationships, grief, self-worth, and the tension between their own needs and the expectations of others.
Therapy often involves exploring significant life changes and relationship patterns, and how these have shaped your emotional world, sense of self, and ways of coping. We work together at a steady pace to build understanding, emotional resilience, and more supportive ways of relating to yourself and others.
