I’m a fully qualified, BACP registered Psychotherapist offering confidential online therapy for male clients. No judgement and no pressure to pretend everything is fine.
Many men are used to pushing things down or getting on with it, even when stress, anxiety, anger, or self-doubt start building up. Therapy gives you a space where you don’t have to perform or explain yourself perfectly. Over time that can make it hard to talk about what’s really going on, even with the people closest to you.
Whether you’re dealing with pressure at work, relationship difficulties, addiction, low confidence, anger, or a general sense that something isn’t working, we’ll work through it together at a pace that suits you. The aim isn’t to analyse every detail of your life, but to help you understand what’s going on, steady things internally, and feel more in control.
My practice offers a straightforward, grounded space where men of any age can speak openly without judgement. Together we can look at patterns in your thoughts, relationships, and behaviour, helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing and find practical ways forward.
For some clients the focus is on managing anxiety or anger. For others it’s about improving communication, building confidence, or dealing with a sense of feeling stuck or lost. Often it’s simply about having a space where you can be honest without feeling weak or judged.
Online counselling makes this easier to access. There are no waiting rooms and no need to travel. Just a private, confidential space where you can talk from wherever you feel most comfortable.
If you’re ready to start making sense of things, get life back on track, or simply have a place where you can speak openly, I’m here.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), NCPS (National Psychotherapy and Counselling Society) and ACTO (Association for Counselling and Therapy Online) all professional bodies representing counsellors and psychotherapists.
I work with adults and young people.
I offer a warm, supportive, and confidential space where men and boys can talk openly about what's going on in their lives, without fear of judgement or pressure.
Life can be challenging at times, and many men find themselves carrying worries, stress, or difficult emotions on their own. Whether you're struggling with something specific or simply feel that things aren't quite right, therapy can provide an opportunity to make sense of what you're experiencing and find a way forward. I work alongside my clients at their own pace, helping them explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful to them.
Many of the men and boys I work with come to therapy because they are experiencing:
Stress and Anxiety
Feeling overwhelmed by work, studies, family responsibilities, finances, or the pressures of everyday life.
Low Confidence and Self-Doubt
Struggling with self-esteem, feeling stuck, comparing yourself to others, or finding it difficult to recognise your own strengths.
Low Mood and Depression
Feeling disconnected, lacking motivation, carrying a sense of sadness, or finding it hard to talk about how you're really feeling.
Relationship Difficulties
Challenges in relationships with partners, family members, friends, or colleagues, and the pressures that can come with trying to meet everyone's expectations.
Many men grow up feeling they need to cope alone, stay strong, or keep difficult feelings to themselves. Therapy offers a different space—one where you can be honest about what's happening, gain a better understanding of yourself, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges.
Whatever your age or circumstances, you don't have to face things on your own.
Online Counselling
Online counselling allows you to access support from wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that's at home, in your office, or another private space. It removes the need to travel and can make it easier to fit therapy around work, family, or other commitments.
Working online also means you're not limited to finding a therapist nearby. Instead, you can choose someone who feels like the right fit for you, regardless of where they are based.
How I Work
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. Every person is different, and what works for one person may not work for another.
I draw on a range of counselling approaches and tailor our work to your individual needs, personality, and goals. Together, we can explore what's going on for you, gain a better understanding of your experiences, and find ways to help you move forward.
Getting Started
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, and it's completely normal to have questions or uncertainties.
If you're thinking about starting therapy, I'd be happy to hear from you. Whether you're ready to book a session or simply want to ask a few questions first, please feel free to get in touch. We can discuss what you're looking for and whether counselling feels like the right next step for you.
You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

"I just wanted to review my experience with Steve as my counsellor. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect going into this whole thing, but it turned out to be a game changer for me. First off, the online sessions were perfect. I could chill in my own space, and that made it way easier to open up. No awkward waiting rooms or anything—just me, my laptop, and Steve. It felt relaxed, and I could focus on what really mattered. From day one Steve made me feel totally comfortable. Like, I could be real with him without any judgment. He listened to everything I had to say, and it felt like he really cared. He helped me dig into some tough stuff, but he always made sure I felt supported. It was like talking to a friend who just gets it. Thanks to our sessions, I've gained so much clarity on what I want in life and how to deal with my anxiety. I can't believe I waited so long to try this out. If you're thinking about counselling, do it, and definitely go with Steve if you can. Thanks, Steve! You've made a huge difference in my life."
