I am a mature Reiki Master/Teacher/Practitioner and I have a sole practice from my home. Home visits are available if needed. I also volunteer at a local Hospice.

I started studying Reiki in 2008 and completed in 2010. Verified Member of the Reiki Association Accredited CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) Volunteered in the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice Glasgow for 6 years (where I worked with patients, carers, and bereavement groups. Also Staff Therapies). Was co-opted onto a Committee to draw up Policies for Therapists and was a team leader for Therapists. On moving house and because Glasgow Hospice was being built elsewhere I am now volunteering at Kilbryde Hospice East Kilbride. I do Reiki Therapy for children adults and animals if needed.

When starting a treatment with a client I would have a short discussion and explain what Reiki is and how it might help them. On completion of a treatment I would encourage the client to contact me after a few days with anything they would like to discuss about how they feel etc and that would give me feedback and to ensure my treatments are helping them with what they need. It would be entirely up to them if they felt comfortable enough to continue with other visits. If there are any medical problems I would explain that they would need to see a doctor and continue with any medicines and treatments they have been advised to do.
