I have been a physio since 1988 and an osteopath since 1998.........I find my work challenging and fascinating. Every day is different, every client is different, every treatment is different There are plenty of things I'm not so good at treating so I have surrounded myself with a team of skilled colleagues (physios, ostepath, acupuncturist, pilates instructors, massage therapist). Physiotherapy and osteopathy My main areas of interest are: manual therapy, manipulation, trigger point therapy, dry needling and acupuncture Qualified in Fascial Manipulation modules 1 & 2 (www.fascialmanipulation.com), Graston Technique, Sarah Key method, myofascial release and many other techniques We are also lucky enough to have a Theraflex machine in our Virginia Water practice. I do not usually condone the use of machines but this is a fantastic gadget which effectively mobilises every segment of your back (though under the direct control of the therapist) Recently we have added focused shockwave for treatment of stubborn tendon problems and also EMTT and PEMF to help in the treatment of inflammatory problems
