My name is Kazia and I am an analytical hypnotherapist.

I graduated in 1999 with a degree in Linguistics and Psychology. I then went on to train as a hypnotherapist, fully qualifying in 2015 with a diploma in Analytical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DAHP).

I regularly complete CPD courses and am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and the government body, the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.

I have full up to date Professional Indemnity Insurance.

I use hypnotherapy combined with psychotherapy to help people live well.

I believe that we all have within us the ability to make positive change in times of personal crisis. Embarking on a therapeutic journey creates a stronger sense of self and the increased confidence to embrace true personal growth. The therapy I offer is very much client-centred and personally tailored.

Analytical hypnotherapy is a psychotherapeutic technique used to nurture and improve emotional wellbeing, bringing a sense of empowerment and positivity. Together we will look at what is triggering any unhelpful, unwanted emotions. The deep sense of relaxation during a hypnotherapy session allows the subconscious mind to gently release these emotions, leading to relief from symptoms.

I draw on my studies and experience and apply them holistically to my own therapeutic practice. I am particularly interested in psychodynamic and humanistic methodologies where the client is empowered to investigate the workings of both the conscious and unconscious mind.
