Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in Isle Of Lewis

Rediscover inner calm, comfort and wellbeing...

I use a holistic approach which combines cognitive behavioural therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, relaxation and mindfulness, and can support you with a wide range of issues including stress and anxiety, fears and phobias, self-confidence, pain, and insomnia. As a former teacher, I can also work with children and teens.

I offer online sessions on a 1-to-1 basis via Zoom at a time to suit you. Working together, we'll devise a treatment plan that's totally tailored to your goals and preferences, and I'll support you every step of the way.

Please get in touch for a free, informal chat to see how I could help. I look forward to chatting with you.

Background & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Qualifications

I hold a higher diploma in Hypno-CBT® from the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy which is approved by the British Psychological Society.

I am a full member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP) and a registered practitioner with The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), holding their widely recognised General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (GHQP). I carry full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

After working in education for over 20 years, I retrained as a therapist to help people rediscover inner comfort and calm through powerful techniques to cope with the challenges of daily life and improve mental and physical wellbeing.

I combine private practice with online workshops and webinars for schools, charities and workplaces.

I use a multi-component, holistic approach which is backed by research and is evidence-based. Integrative psychotherapy encompasses the mind and the body.

Depending on your needs and preferences, your treatment may include some, or all, of the following therapies:

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
• Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Hypno-CBT®)
• Clinical Hypnotherapy
• Relaxation, Mindfulness, and Meditation Training
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
