Dagmara Freeman
Counsellor in Sefton

I am a psychotherapist trained in the pluralistic approach to therapy. I offer clients a warm, supportive and non-judgmental space.

I am passionate about helping clients overcome issues they might have been struggling with for months, or even years. Many of us experience difficulties in our lives and that is when therapy can help. I believe the process of therapy is different for each client. My approach to therapy is that my client and I work closely to agree on the best way forward. I have found my approach to be successful for many clients.

As a pluralistic counsellor I can draw on a range of methods and understandings to try and tailor the therapy to the individual client - based on the client's needs and what the client thinks may be most helpful.

Background & Counselling Qualifications

I have a diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice (Level 5) and a Hypnotherapy Diploma. I am also an accredited yoga teacher and I have accomplished further training in teaching yoga for stress, anxiety, burnout and fatigue. I have also completed extended courses around dealing with trauma and panic attacks, as well as working with victims of domestic abuse and dealing with loss and bereavement.

As a member of the National Counselling Society (NCS) and National Hypnotherapy Society (NHS) I adhere to their ethical framework. This includes keeping up to date with continuing professional development and having regular clinical supervision.

I have professional liability and personal indemnity insurance. I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, and uphold GDPR guidelines.
