Hi there, I'm Sarah Beth and I offer alternative approaches to traditional talking therapy. My background is one of lived experience so I can relate to anyone who is struggling with childhood trauma, emotional challenges and limiting mindset.
Whilst I took the traditional academic route, I felt challenged by adopting the well trodden path as it had never worked for me and having spent over a decade in and out of talking therapy and counselling myself, I took the road less travelled which has led me to a place of calm contentment in my life and a toolbox that supports me in coping with my own challenges - even therapists have them and we are all a work in progress!
My approach is to;
Pull out the weeds - therapy to realign painful memories/emotions/limiting beliefs
Tend to your needs - habit training - the quality of your life is determined by the quality of your habits
Plant new seeds - support you in developing a growth mindset

Background & Healing Qualifications

I have a BSc hons in Psychology, I am a qualified life coach, Mindfulness, Meditation and Breathwork practitioner as well as being qualified in yin and restorative yoga.
I am also an IEMT and Old Pain to Go practitioner.
I am currently training in Belief Coding and BWRT so can offer reduced rates in both of these therapies as I move through the accreditation process.
I bring all of my training and knowledge into my sessions making them unique to my client and their individual needs and requirements.

My Specialisms

I specialise in a preventive approach to wellbeing and whilst the therapies I am trained/training in work to metaphorically 'pull out the weeds' of your mind - things which may be painful and are holding you back or keeping you stuck in looping patterns of behaviour, I also help you to focus your mind on 'planting new seeds' that will help to nurture your mind garden and allow you to flourish.
I worked on an Innovate UK funded project last year with my business, Habit, which was focused around a preventive approach to workplace wellbeing and helped employees in organisations such as DWP and the Police force to adopt daily habits that helped them to meet their basic needs and more effectively manage stress throughout the day. The project was a huge success and I use my experience as a habit expert to nurture my clients daily needs in a powerful three pronged approach.

I focus on the fact that at our core, every human has the same basic needs. The trauma we have experienced during childhood and beyond is often due to our needs not being met.
Everything begins in the mind so if we can create a growth mindset rather than being stuck in a fixed mindset, our life can begin to flourish.
I have spent many years working with alternative therapies and healing modalities, I bring a wealth of wisdom into my sessions and will adopt a unique process for each person I work with using my finely tuned intuition to create a session and space that is unique to your requirements. I don't only provide the healing/therapy session but I will also offer practical tools that will support you in your ongoing journey and can help to alleviate challenges in day to day life when we are faced with stressful situations.

Additional Rate Information

My 'Healing' session is combined of all of my training, delivered based upon your specific requirements. There will be an initial 15 minute consultation in which we will assess if you feel comfortable working with me and whether I feel confident that my approach will work for your specific needs and requirements. The session will involved working through the main discomforts that are holding you back and fine tuning how you would like to reframe and painful memories that arise. We will then work through the session itself which can often include some deep inner child healing and can induce tears. At the end of the session we will check in to ensure the emotion/memory/belief has been effectively neutralised and the new beliefs have been effectively reprogrammed. I will provide you with homework over the following 4 weeks and will check in with you 24 hours later, one week later and 4 weeks later to ensure the process has achieved the desired results.
