Hi, I'm Amrita.

I'm a Nervous System Educator, Wellbeing Specialist, Coach and Writer, helping people move from survival mode into a life of greater calm, confidence, resilience and connection.

For nearly two decades, I've supported children, young people, families and adults to navigate stress, anxiety, overwhelm and life's inevitable challenges with greater self-awareness and compassion. My work combines neuroscience, nervous system education and evidence-informed wellbeing practices with a deeply human, heart-led approach.

I believe that lasting change doesn't come from pushing harder or simply thinking differently. It begins when we help the body feel safe enough for the mind to flourish.

Together, we'll explore practical, compassionate ways to regulate your nervous system, understand your patterns and build sustainable emotional wellbeing that supports every area of your life.

Drawing upon my training in nervous system regulation, mindfulness, breathwork, EFT, somatic practices, yoga, positive psychology and sound healing, I tailor every session to meet you exactly where you are.

Experience

With almost 20 years of experience in education, wellbeing and human development, I have dedicated my career to helping people thrive.

My professional journey began in education, where I worked with children and young people across mainstream schools, specialist settings and alternative provision. Supporting individuals with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and neurodiverse needs gave me a deep understanding of how stress, anxiety and our nervous system influence learning, relationships, confidence and overall wellbeing.

Alongside my work in education, I have continued to expand my knowledge through extensive professional training in coaching, nervous system regulation, mindfulness and trauma-informed wellbeing. Today, I combine evidence-informed practice with compassionate, personalised support to help individuals move from overwhelm to greater calm, resilience and self-belief.

My Approach to Therapy & How I Work

I believe that every person already holds the capacity for growth, resilience and positive change. Sometimes, however, life's experiences, chronic stress or overwhelming circumstances can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and stuck in patterns that no longer serve us.

My role isn't to "fix" you. Instead, I provide a safe, compassionate and supportive space where we can explore what's happening beneath the surface, helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviours and nervous system so that lasting change becomes possible.

I work in a collaborative, person-centred way, recognising that no two people are the same. Every session is tailored to your individual experiences, strengths, goals and needs.

Drawing upon neuroscience, nervous system education and evidence-informed wellbeing practices, I integrate approaches such as mindfulness, breathwork, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), somatic practices, positive psychology and coaching to support both emotional and physiological wellbeing.
