Her interest on grief counseling and childhood trauma emerged from her working experience with children in a summer school in Soma, Turkey after the mine disaster in 2015. which left many of the children trying to cope with the loss of their fathers. This led Sevde to take specialized trauma training in "Somatic Experiencing".

My approach is relational and integrative; depending on the unique needs of clients and the issue that will work on, I mainly use;
Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy
I both work short and long term and also offering online sessions. I try to create nonjudgemental, safe area for clients which they feel contained and express whatever the issue they have, and co-regulate with the therapist when they needed. In therapy room as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I can define the therapy like a dance of two autonomous nervous systems which are resonating together.
