Carla Love is a qualified , experienced and Registered Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Therapist. She has been practising alternative medicine for over 15 years.
She is currently based in the Warrington and Leigh areas in the north-west, treating local patients and patients from the surrounding areas.
She is also able to offer herbal medicine consultations virtually online so is able to treat patients nationwide.

Background & Abdominal Sacral Massage Qualifications

Carla trained for 3 years at the Northern College of Acupuncture, undertaking a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture). She then continued with her MSc in order to further her knowledge and experience, completing and analysing a trial on osteoarthritis. This has provided her with a grounding in Chinese Medicine and knowledge about Western Medical care. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) which is the UK's largest professional body for the practice of acupuncture

Carla has completed an intense 2 year post-graduate training course in Chinese Herbal Medicine and is a member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine. This enables her to safely prescribe herbal formulae and medicine to help with your healing.

Carla is also qualified in a range of holistic therapies, which can be incorporated into the treatment. Massage and reflexology could benefit the overall outcome.

Carla is one of the official acupuncturists for Fertility Fusion, one of the leading providers of fertility treatment in the North West. Carla also has specific interest in menopausal symptoms and the effect on women's lifestyle. She has treated a vast range of differing symptoms that present.

Each patient is viewed as an individual and each treatment will be specifically devised to create the most successful outcome. A range of TCM techniques can be selected to help with your concerns. If the body can be balanced and become more tranquil, then we are taking the first steps to recovery.
The aim is to select from the therapy toolbag the most useful tools to help with your condition.
Patients will be informed if a course of treatments will be needed before we can assess any progress. Likewise, herbal medicine can be discussed if it is felt that this is the optimal treatment pathway.
