I have a Masters Degree in Art Psychotherapy and 20 years experience in face to face work with a diverse range of people and groups.
I am a registered Art Psychotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a member of the British Association of Art Psychotherapists (BAAT).
I love working with people of all ages and backgrounds and have specific experience using Art Therapy with the issues of peer relationship difficulties, complex family relationships, parenting, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, homelessness, substance us disorders, sexual identity, bereavement, trauma and the impact of historic trauma.
My approach is client led and psychodynamic, while integrating wider therapeutic skills to meet individual needs.
I offer In-Person with a large range of art and craft materials and Online Sessions where clients provide their own materials to work with or I can send them a pack.
No pre-existing artistic skills are needed to choose this mode of therapy, all that is needed is an openness to what can emerge through the visual.
