Beth Bauer
Body Psychotherapist in Frome (somerset)

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming — as though the ground has shifted beneath you, leaving you anxious, disconnected, or searching for a sense of belonging. I offer a gentle, steady space where you can lay down the weight you've been carrying and begin to reconnect with yourself. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck, exhausted by old patterns, or unable to find peace in their body and mind.

My work is rooted in the belief that beneath our struggles lies an innate capacity for wholeness and resilience. I support clients in navigating anxiety, trauma, attachment wounding, and periods of transition, while also opening pathways toward presence, clarity, and inner peace. I bring sensitivity, warmth, and respect for each person's unique journey, creating an environment where you can feel both safe and supported.

Background & Body Psychotherapy Qualifications

My first career was an artist, creating large-scale abstract works for clients around the world. That creative background taught me how to listen to the unseen, to notice subtle shifts, and to trust the power of process — qualities that now infuse my therapeutic work.

I have completed professional training in Breathwork and Somatic Experiencing, and I will accredit in January 2026 as a fully qualified Core Process Psychotherapist.

Approach to Body Psychotherapy & How I Work

My approach is collaborative, gentle, and trauma-informed. I work with both talking and body-based methods, weaving together psychotherapy, breathwork, somatic awareness, and mindfulness. This integration allows space for not only insight and reflection but also embodied healing, where unresolved experiences can be safely felt, processed, and released.

I see therapy as a process of coming home to yourself—cultivating presence, resilience, and compassion while tending to the parts of you that have been held in pain or disconnection. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, whether we are exploring early relational wounds, working with nervous system regulation, or opening into the deeper spiritual dimensions of your experience.
