Elly Adams
Bowen Technique Practitioner in Newent

Remedial physical therapies to aid relief from pain or discomfort & restore functional movement.
I offer a variety of services which clients can choose from all with a focus on helping you get yourself or your dog back on track to physical or emotional recovery.
My services are tailored to each client depending on their individual needs. I have a strong focus on relieving pain to restore functional movement so daily activities which previously proved problematic can continue without issues & I will often prescribe rehabilitation exercises to increase the client's involvement in their own path to recovery.
Choose one or a combination of therapies to suit your needs - whether you are looking for rehabilitation following injury or surgery, an improvement to general musculoskeletal issues, sports maintenance, relaxation, peace during times of emotional upheaval or a general boost to your overall wellbeing.
I work with people of all ages, dogs & other small animals. I offer sessions at clinic rooms in Newent & Ledbury & a mobile clinic for canine treatments covering Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Monmouthshire & Worcestershire

My Specialisms

Canine Arthritis Management
Arthritits is a welfare issue affecting around 35% of all dogs (regardless of age) in the UK
I specialise in helping owners recognise signs of chronic pain early & offering support & practical advice on exercise & lifestyle changes they can make to help manage the disease at home alongside their primary veterinary care.

Approach to Bowen Technique & How I Work

Each client comes to me with their own story which is a work in progress & is influenced by every factor in that person's life - childhood, previous illness or injury, emotional or physical trauma, home life, work life, personality, diet etc.- & their story affects how they experience their pain. I see every client as a unique individual& approach their treatment plan with this in mind so each session is tailored to their specific needs. Often a client will need a multi modal approach to their issues so I like to refer them to practitioners of other techniques so they have a complete package of care to help bring them back to wellness.
