Hello, I'm Hollie, I'm a warm and down-to-earth Integrative Counsellor based in Norwich. I have experience working with adults at Norfolk and Waveney MIND, engaging with people with a variety of life-changing events such as grief, relationship breakdowns, burnout alongside experience in supporting individuals to heal from sexual and domestic abuse. If you find yourself feeling low, or dealing with high levels of anxiety, along with physical symptoms like sickness, pain, or sleeplessness, your body may be out of balance, responding to the stress and trauma it has endured.

Background & Counselling Qualifications

Before pursuing a career as a counsellor, I worked for 5 years within the support sector empowering people to move forward. My approach is deeply rooted in the principles of healing and empowerment. Together, we can work on fostering greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and ultimately guide you in constructing a life narrative that supports you in connecting to your authentic self.

My Specialisms

I am committed to working with individuals over the age of 18. I have a particular interest and experience in supporting those dealing with anxiety, panic, childhood trauma and domestic and sexual abuse.

Approach to Counselling & How I Work

Examples of how counselling could support you: creating healthy boundaries, recovery from abuse, grounding techniques for anxiety, support with burn out. Finding the right counsellor is an important process, the therapeutic relationship we create becomes a contained space where you can comfortably explore your life experiences, both past and present.
