Simona  De Gregorio Counselling

Simona  De Gregorio
Counsellor in Langley

What drew me to this work has been my own suffering and my longing for healing when I was in my early 20s.
I was fortunate to find a therapist who showed me that she really cared and opened up a space where I could be heard, feel welcome and process hurts and find my way through life. That inspired me and led me on quite a beautiful and magical journey.
I feel very blessed and honoured to do the work I do.
I believe that pain is not here to make us suffer but to free us and guide us towards the recognition of our true essence so that we may live more in alignment with our true nature, beauty and inner peace.
I also believe we are here to evolve and expand our consciousness and that we can do this together as a collective.

I have deep respect for the complexity of relationships — how they challenge us, shape us, and offer opportunities for growth. I'm particularly interested in the connection between our early relational experiences and the ways we show up in the present. I see therapy as a collaborative process that not only supports healing, but can also help us reconnect to our authenticity, values, and capacity for intimacy.

I am passionate about facilitating transformation and healing, and providing a safe and confidential space where you can bring all of your Self, your feelings, your pain, your joy and dreams, your frustrations, your wisdom, your light and shadows.

Perhaps you are battling with a lack of meaning and purpose, relationship or work issues, climate grief, addiction. Maybe you feel isolated, lost in a fast changing world that does not match your values, or stuck in recurring patterns that are no longer serving you. It could be that you are experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, suicidal thoughts, and you do not quite know what to do with them.

Whilst having a support network is very important, speaking to somebody who is trained to sit in the midst of pain with you and support you in your healing journey can be incredibly helpful.

You can read more about what I do below. If my offering resonates with you, I would be delighted to hear from you and start what will be the most rewarding journey of your life: the journey back to Yourself.

Background & Counselling Qualifications

I am a UKCP- accredited, full clinical psychotherapist.

I followed my vocation and trained as a Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapist at CCPE: the leading centre for transpersonal studies in the UK.

Transpersonal ("beyond personal") means that I approach this work holistically, honouring the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit and the Earth. The integrative part of my training allows me to use a variety of techniques, making the therapeutic encounter a creative space to explore your journey in the way that feels most authentic and right for you.

Whilst completing my 5 year post-graduate training at CCPE, I also studied at the IGA, Institute of Group Analysis in London and at the Academy of Inner Science with Thomas Hübl and other leading experts in Healing Collective Trauma.

My Specialisms

I offer short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy.

I work with people individually, on a one to one basis, and also with couples and groups.

My approach is relational, integrative and transpersonal. Deep attunement and presence are core states that guide my practice.

Sessions mainly involve talking, but breathing exercises, hands on healing,
mindfulness, focusing, tapping, EFT, and creativity are sometimes also used.

I am committed to facilitating healing and renewal at a personal, ancestral and collective level.

I am specializing as a Transpersonal Intimate Couple and Relationship Therapist.

Transpersonal couples therapy offers a holistic approach to intimate relationships, focusing on psychological, emotional, and spiritual growth. It views relationships as a transformative space for healing and self-actualization.

Through techniques for open dialogue, non violent communication, withdrawal of projections, and creating safety, couples can learn to navigate the power struggle and move from conflict to deeper connection, wholeness and intimacy.

Approach to Counselling & How I Work

I draw from a range of psychological theories and techniques to suit your unique needs, while also holding space for the deeper, more soulful aspects of human experience. This might include working with unconscious patterns, emotional wounds, relational dynamics, and a sense of meaning or connection beyond the day-to-day.

Whether you're coming to therapy alone or with a partner, I aim to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and foster healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

I welcome clients of all backgrounds, including those in LGBTQ+ communities, non-traditional relationship structures, or exploring identity, purpose, and connection in their relational lives. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels safe and grounded, always with respect for your autonomy and lived experience.
