Emma Tyer Emotional Freedom Technique

Emma Tyer
EFT Practitioner in Gloucester

?I have spent the last 30 years helping groups and individuals to reconnect with what is important to them, inspiring them to move forward on their paths of self discovery, encouraging them to have confidence in who they are and courage to be who they want to be. I empower groups and individuals to live, think and work creatively and collaboratively for the 21st century.
?
I am the permanent wellbeing mentor (life coach) at the King's School in Gloucester and work with pupils of all ages and the staff to inspire positive change and self-belief. I have also spent three years working at a local prep school as child and adolescent coach.

?In 2015 I founded and ran a small local charity for bereaved individuals and families using nature as therapy for grief, getting people of all ages gardening and being creative together. After three years Ronan's Trust had initiated active bereavement gardening groups and inspired many other charities to think differently about working with those experiencing bereavement. Ronan's Trust closed, proud to be leaving a continuing legacy.

I then worked together with Winston's Wish to provide "The Growing Hope" project to primary schools across the country to support the bereaved children in their care through gardening together.

?I trained and worked an early years teacher and when I had my own children developed a series of wellbeing courses, initially for parents. These developed into wellbeing courses for women and I also developed a creative education programme for schools.

I now facilitated and provide inset day sessions for teachers and workshops in schools for parents.

?I have used EFT - (emotional freedom technique) also known as Tapping for many years for myself and my family. I have more recently trained to be an EFT practitioner and am delighted to be able to offer tapping as an additional tool alongside my coaching, to support clients with stress, anxiety, overcoming emotional blocks and negative thinking patterns.

My Specialisms

For Women - At points of change and challenge, in a world that is increasingly fast paced and demanding, it can be hard to find your way forward. Through changing life circumstances such as divorce, bereavement, menopause and career change My expertise and experience enables me to support you to find
your way forward.
I specialise in coaching those who are at transition points in their lives and are looking to improve their self esteem, confidence and motivation. I have a background in self-development and I also offer support for those ready to take their next steps following a bereavement.
For Parents- Having children is a huge gift but at times frustrating and
challenging. No one provides us with a map and there is no compass - I have 35 years experience in working together with parents and families, children and adolescents. We are facing increasing challenges with more and more of our young people being diagnosed with mental and emotional health difficulties, increasing demands on time and the breakdown of family community. I am kind, gentle and caring and guide you and your children to find new ways of working and being together as a family to achieve both your family and individual goals.
For Children and Adolescents - I work on a one to one basis with children and young people from 7yrs up. (In person appointments only for children up to 14years. Online available for 14 years up) I create a space where the child/young person feels heard and safe to speak. I offer tools that help develop self - esteem, build resilience, learn to trust, manage overwhelming emotions, learn to set goals and achieve them. They learn to develop self belief and self motivation, identify obstacles and set realistic achievable goals. The sessions are designed for each individuals journey.
