Energy Medicine Practitioner in London

I have found that taking the first step to towards having real control of our lives is that we get really clear on "what it is that we do want" instead of constantly fighting "what it is - that we don't want".

In my many years as a therapist and wellness coach I have found that people don't really take the time to get really clear on their goals. Understandably, life happens - people lead really busy lives, we get easily distracted there is so much out there and life is very fast paced. However, when we don't take time to focus on clarifying our goals we don't get to align the new behavioural programmes that would ensure for those goals happen. It really is as simple as that.

So, now is the time to change that.

I am the developer of the ICAN Change Model. This is a 4-step therapeutic model which I have successfully taught my clients to change their brain so that their new behaviours stick.
Many people believe that change is hard but my experience is that when we use techniques that are specifically designed to work with your brain that changes can be relatively effortless and easy.

In the book, I explain how the ICAN Model works using a step by step process that I took to changing a troublesome behaviour safe in the knowledge that it is changed FOREVER.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work

Being Curious, Being Kind and Being Present are key practices that are imbedded what I believe is at the route of any compassionate or heart based therapeutic model. I doesn't matter what type of client I have found that at the route of their suffering is often the result of their own self-judgement and lack of forgiveness.

The often do realise at first that the very behaviours are unable to change is generally the problem is the solution to a deeper suffering which they are trying to avoid experiencing. As an integrated therapist, there is never an agenda as we work together on what you bring to your sesion. The sessions are outcome focused and although there is flexibility in the sessions to meet current immediate issues we will always have the bigger goal in mind. That way you are always working towards your success.

However, I believe that for real change to happen it needs to be "in the muscle" before it can be permanent so I do not do "sticking plaster therapy" and I am not into "quick fixes. "
Generally, people will get a good result on simple issues within 4-6 sessions, but if you are ready in that moment one session will be transforming. However, it could also be slightly longer it all depends on how you process information. Remeber you are in control and we work at the pace that you set.

"Sherine is a very skilled therapist who was able to very quickly get to the root causes of my anxiety. Using a combination of talking therapy, hypnosis and EMDR she helped me to feel better in the space of a few weeks. "

"After an unblemished sickness history I experienced two episodes of sudden onset ill health in a three month period.
Although I have been extensively and all tests are clear, I have been having symptoms associated with anxiety and difficulty sleeping . This is affecting my work and personal life. I approached Sherry because of her clinical background and diverse knowledge and experience in the therapies.
I spent an afternoon with her she felt the EMDR would be the therapy best suited for me. This helped identify the triggers bringing on my symptoms. This was a painful process but also one of release. Throughput the process Sherine ensured that I was comfortable with the journy. She then worked on ensuring that I get the process right. She gave me coping strategies. I have been doing EMDR and meditating which have helped with sleeping. I am also learning how to manage my workload which was also a trigger resulting in my feeling overwhelmed. She has kept in contact to check my journey's progress."

"I was recommended Sherine by a friend of a friend, during a time of enormous personal upheaval. I had never previously sought professional advice. I am so grateful for everything that Sherine did to guide me during that tricky period in my life. I'm in such a good place and as well as my own hard work, it has been her guidance and support that has got me here. Her advice still echos in my mind and when I look back I can't imagine how I would have charted those waters without her. I'm so very grateful to that friend of a friend as well as to Sherine and I very much hope this review helps navigate someone else in need to Sherine's safe harbour."

"I came to Sherine to address my anxiety around relationships and my inability to establish healthy boundaries. The coaching outcome focused on finding a relationship but as my health deteriorated and anxiety intensified, we focused on these areas also. Sherine is very empathic and able to provide real life examples based on her personal experiences that resonated with what I was going through, she taught me to listen to my inner self and especially my needs before putting everyone else's first. I really enjoyed her practical approach of giving me 'homework' and tasks to do in between sessions, this helped me discover so much about myself and I learned how I can utilise my own resources to grow as a better person. I am a different person than I was when I started coaching 4 months ago and I'm looking forward to continuing working with Sherine in the future.
I will highly recommend Sherine if you're feeling lost and need direction in your life, or if you're going through traumatic changes as I was, you'll be very surprised to discover how powerful you are.
Thank you Sherine!
