Rosemary Tarrant
Herbal Medicine Practitioner in Selkirk

I am a Kinesiologist and Holistic Health Coach with over 24 years' experience supporting people to restore balance, vitality and wellbeing.

At Down To Earth Health, I offer a natural, whole-person approach to support digestive health, hormonal balance, emotional wellbeing and low energy. I have a particular passion for working with women over 40 and those navigating life transitions such as stress, burnout, perimenopause, menopause or major life changes.

Sessions are personalised and supportive, offered both online and in person, and may include kinesiology, nutritional guidance, health coaching and homeobotanicals. Alongside my clinical work, I also teach kinesiology training courses, which continually deepens my practice.

Background & Herbal Medicine Qualifications

I hold a professional Diploma in Kinesiology from The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology (TASK) since 2001 and trained as a Homeobotanical Practitioner with The International College of Homeobotanical Medicine in 2003.

I am also trained in holistic health coaching and nutrition, and my work is informed by many years of clinical experience supporting a wide range of clients.

Alongside my practice, I teach kinesiology courses and have supported students in their professional development for several years.

My Specialisms

I specialise in supporting:

Digestive health and gut-related issues

Hormonal balance (PMT, perimenopause, menopause)

Fatigue, low energy and burnout

Emotional wellbeing and stress

Life transitions, particularly for women over 40

My work may include kinesiology, tailored nutritional support, health coaching and homeobotanicals, depending on each client's needs. I also offer advanced clinical, sports and therapeutic massage for in person client sessions where needed.

Approach to Herbal Medicine & How I Work

My approach is holistic, gentle and client-centred. I believe in working with the root causes of imbalance rather than simply managing symptoms.

Sessions are tailored to each individual and may draw on kinesiology, nutritional guidance, health coaching and natural remedies such as homeobotanicals. I work both online and in person, allowing flexibility and accessibility for clients further afield.

My intention is to create a calm, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered and supported in making sustainable changes to their health and wellbeing.
