Jenny Lynn Meditation

Jenny Lynn
Meditation Practitioner in Clacton-On-Sea

I love working with people who are really ready to do their personal work. If you are looking for someone to accompany you into your deeper unconscious and guide you through your stuck places, to help you discover your true self and find your voice, I'd love to meet you.

Over many years, I have mentored and trained my colleagues to work more intuitively and holistically, understanding that people are whole beings, not just nicely packaged symptom carriers to be fixed. We realise that our responsibility is really firstly to ourselves as therapists so that we can offer our clients our full, unafraid, and open selves as a model for them and their growth.

I have found my truth in Buddhism which I have practised for more than 30 years and this is a fundamental part of my being.

Background & Meditation Qualifications

I became a therapist around the age of 36 after having already had 2 previous careers: one as an employee in a corporate environment, and the other as a teacher and lecturer of Spanish and German. I also think being a mother is also a qualification without which it would be less natural to work with couples, kids, and families.

I trained for 3 years in therapy at a private school in Essex called SACH School of Analytical and Cognitive Hypnotherapy). The training was profoundly life changing. Not only did it provide tools, in multiple models of counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy, it also provided profound personal awakening and insight into my own life.

Since then I've been in practice as a professional therapist and, because of my teaching background, also trainer of my colleagues, workshop creator and director, public speaker, and writer. You'll find more about me on the following sites:,,, `

I am a fellow of the National Council of Psychotherapists
Member of the Hypnotherapy Association
Senior Qualified Practitioner of the Hypnotherapy Register

My Specialisms

I discovered how to work with CFS/ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome-Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) early in my career and went on to train my colleagues and GPs in what I had discovered. You'll find more about my work on which is designed for my colleagues, but some clients have bought it and shared it with their therapists to help them recover.

I offer public talks in CFS and the journey I made in realising what is happening.

I also work with those who are in spiritual crisis: people who are experiencing a seismic shift in their awakening and who simply need someone who may have trodden the path ahead of them to help them on their way. This usually comes about through trauma of some sort or another: A divorce, a loss, job or career change. Basically, an event that causes you to question what you thought was true. This journey leads those that are seeking into their own hearts, beyond the fears and trials of life, and into an initiated and stable core where you are in charge of what happens to you. This transitional phase in those who are awakening is a pleasure for me to work with.

Approach to Meditation & How I Work

My approach to therapy is eclectic, integrative and transpersonal. What that means in a nutshell is that I bring myself and my experience into the therapy room and do not chain myself to models and approaches that may not suit you. I can attune myself to what it is you are seeking and draw upon the wisdom of training, personal experience and learning that your situation requires. I do not leave uncomfortable silences, or expect you to answer all your own questions, or offer banalities or platitudes that sound like therapy speak at its worst. I am a real person and I bring my full self to our sessions so that you get a really genuine reflection of where your issues really are.

I prefer to work in 2 hours slots as my approach is designed for people who are proactive and motivated to find their solutions. This is reflected in the investment you make. Therapy duration tends to be relatively brief and we are focussed on helping you find your peace of mind and equilibrium.
