Katarina Tothova
Naturopath in Broxburn

Hello! I became a nutritional therapist over a decade ago due to my own health mysteries. Each day I am so thankful that I started this amazing journey. I'd like to help you feel the same! I love to create nutritional health & supplement plans, which are made to fit. They are based on careful functional and naturopathic diagnostics and backed up by good science.

My favourite example of modern functional diagnostics is using genetic data. It's almost hard to believe, but I designed my own interpretation system which has a practical use in the area of nutrition. I blend the gene results with your actual health needs and other test results, and this is where all the magic happens. Thanks to the "genes" I can find your weak parts, often hidden and overlooked until too late.

Approach to Naturopathy & How I Work

My job is to give you tools, motivation, and lots of personal support to move forward. We start your healing journey with a careful case review (something like a health MOT). I look at the "four pillars" of your health; mental & spiritual, nutrition & movement, relaxation & sleep, and detoxification & nature. After the assessment, I outline basic steps to strengthen these pillars with a focus on body nutrition and detoxification. I may recommend some specific tests. This is done during the 3-month coaching, with unlimited communication via email, or any other form we find the most suitable. It takes some time to find underlying problems, assess the effect of supplements and tweak the dietary changes. This is why I do not usually offer short one-off consultations for my new clients.
