Physiotherapist in London

You have taken the first step towards healing as you as you are considering engaging in therapy. I offer a confidential and safe place where you will be listened to and heard. I am interested in your story and respect your life journey so far with an invitation to explore your difficulties with life, relationships and work. Together, we can explore how you manage your outer and inner world and how to increase your strength and sense of wellbeing. You may be longing for something to change in your life. Deep inside, you are looking for healing your past in order to live your life better. My motto is: 'heal to live'. You can read more on my website 'heal-to-live-com'.

Background & Physiotherapy Qualifications

Formerly trained in Education, Psychology and Social Sciences, I have always worked with young people and adults to assist them on their journey of growth and reaching their own unique potential. I have experience with people who were working through loss and grief.

Currently, I am a UKCP accredited Psychotherapist and I work with individuals in my practice in North London and online.

My Specialisms

Psychosynthesis Psychology (MA) is my specialisation. I am passionate about its premise that every person is born into this world as a true and authentic self that wants to live life to the fullest. However early childhood traumatic experiences can overshadow that self and lead to disconnection from it. Survival mechanisms may have been adopted to cope with the bad things that have happened. It may feel that life is just passing by or there is lots of negative thinking. Healing that connection with the self involves becoming aware of the beliefs and adopted patterns of behaviour. Whilst working through the painful memories, the focus can change to making choices that are healthy and promote a fuller and more fulfilled life. Thus, the connection to the authentic self is being restored.

Having grown up as a twin, I have realised that it is quite hard to find my authentic self and I experienced much misunderstanding and rejection when I wanted to be an independent person. I believe that my experiences endowed me with the skills and insights to listen to your issues around being a twin and help you find your own path.

Approach to Physiotherapy & How I Work

My invitation is to contact me for an initial meeting, where we can explore your question, needs and expectations from the therapy process. In addition, this is an opportunity to discuss how we could work together, exploring key goals and practicalities such as time of sessions and fees.

I offer short term and long-term therapy. If you are interested, I will ask you to engage in six to eight sessions after which we could review the work. In a safe and empathic space, I will help you to access the painful feelings that you may have repressed. I help you to strengthen your inner container to and find ways of caring for yourself. I use body-related techniques to find your way back to yourself again.

I offer a limited number of concessions for people with financial hardship. I have times available during the day and evening. I work online (Zoom) and face-to-face in my practice in North London (Palmers Green).
