A little bit about me...

Hello! I'm Fay, the founder of Reiki Retreat and a fully licenced Reiki Practitioner.

I have always had a calling to serve the community and make a difference to people's lives. This began in the teaching profession - having been a primary school teacher since 2007.

In recent years, I have been drawn to Reiki healing - a treatment I have received myself to support my own healing journey. Initially, I qualified in First Degree Reiki Healing which allowed me to heal myself, friends and family but after seeing the impact of the treatment on others, I was led to qualify as a Second Degree Reiki Healer and set up my own business to offer the treatments more widely. During this time, I have also written a number of poems - some through automatic writing - and have been led to share these more widely. I live with my husband and our dog and carry out treatments from the comfort of my own home. Overall, my mission is to support and empower as many people as they embark on their human healing journey.

My Specialisms

I use hands-on healing for Reiki treatments. I offer a traditional treatment for 30 minutes or 1 hour as well as combining the use of crystals within treatments. Some treatments may involve the use of Oracle cards if I or the client is guided to this.
I also offer a free healing poem postcard with each 1 hour treatment. These poems were channelled and I find clients are guided to the most appropriate poem for their highest good.

In addition to individual treatments, I offer a Reiki With Friends day whereby I open my home to a group of friends to share Reiki together. It includes an opportunity to have a 30 minute mini treatment and learn about other forms of healing and self-development. If you have tried Reiki yourself and you have friends who'd like to try it too, this could be an ideal opportunity to gather together in a safe space to experience it. Equally, if you've never tried it before and are interested, this could be for you too. Please drop me a message if you want to find out more. Maximum group size is 6.

Approach to Reiki & How I Work

I pride myself on a personable approach - I always spend time getting to know my clients and what it is they wish to achieve from healing. I make healing personalised and work with my intuition, being guided to where the physical and energetic bodies need Reiki energies.
