Shi Quan Da Bu Tang
This is a must have formula for those that start catching colds and flu at this time of year and into the winter. This formula is gently warming and strongly strengthening and is excellent for post viral recovery (especially if a person feels cold) as it warms the person, strengthens the spleen network, boosts Qi and blood. Post viral complications are often due to the mistaken use of antibiotics when it’s a virus and also when the persons strength of Qi (Energy) has been compromised due to a poor diet. When this happens, very often Damp will start to form inside the body giving rise to aching joints, breathing problems, fatigue, heaviness of body, brain fog, digestive problems, re-occurring infections, etc. This formula is great taken daily as a preventative as well as a curative.
Due to its warming and strengthening nature caution is required if a person is sufferring from 'excess' conditions for example high blood pressure.
As with any prescription of Chinese Herbs, you must find a qualified practitioner so that the correct formula is created and tailored to your unique ailments and to ensure that there are no unwanted side effects.
