It was a heated session.
Client: “I’m DONE! They all make me feel so bad. ALL. THE. TIME!”
Me: “Tell me… what would you like instead?”
Client: “PEACE. That’s all I want.”
Me: “Then go get it.”
Client: “No shit! How?”
Me: “Meditation.”
Silence.
Why We Need an Update on Meditation
None of us has years of ascetic practices or 49 days under a tree like the Buddha. After all, Siddhartha grew up in luxury - he could afford the time.
And let’s be real: most of us aren’t aiming for full enlightenment either.
